Battery Breakthrough? First post by: www.itsbattery.com Dwight Silverman, the tech reviewer at the dell Latitude D510 battery Houston Chronicle, has written about the impact that the Aero theme has on battery life and performance (under the provocative title "Vista, Aero, battery life . . . and Doom" -- he's referring to the game Doom3, BTW). It's a good post and I'd like to take a minute to expand on what Dwight has written. First off, yes, as Dwight correctly points out, the Aero theme drives the GPU harder and therefore uses more power. But in the big picture, it's really not that much more. For example, the display on most laptops dell Latitude D520 battery will consume somewhere between 15-25% of your "power budget" when you are running on battery. Nevertheless, in our testing we've seen that turning on Aero consumes only about 1-4% more of battery life. Supreme has launched a feature on their website that chronicles their entire sneaker history which runs from 1996 through 2009. Included in the feature are their numerous collaborations with Nike SB Shoes, Vans, Timberland, and more. Supreme gained a lot of notoriety for helping launch Nike SB amongst skateboarders across the world when they first launched the Nike SB x Supreme Dunk Low Pro¡¯s in 2002, since then the New York based brand has gone onto collaborate with Nike SB on a number of other models including the Dunk High SB, Blazer SB, Delta Force 3/4 SB, Trainer TW 2, and most recently the Bruin. While their Nike SB collaborations have garnered the most attention, Supreme has also worked on a number of different projects with Vans over the years. One of the many difficulties I encounter is a certain anxiety when it comes to trying to speak to people I on't know, especially women. When I know people well I'm quite comfortable talking to them, yet initiating this contact is difficult for me.
